Chrome Extension (Keyword Search and Analysis)

This Chrome extension is used to get the count of keywords (comma-separated) and the percentage of it’s occurrence in the URLs of a google search result (https://google.com). The keywords are also highlighted when the URLS are clicked after searching for them.

How It Works

1. On the google search result page, get all URL contents in an array
2. Upon entering the keyword(s) in the textbox, count the occurrence of the keyword(s) in each URL contents and the percentage of it’s occurrence (keyword density)
3. Highlight the keyword(s) on the pages when the search URLs are clicked
